Fighting Fury Tournament 2013 Rules

Below are the general rules for all tournament games. Rules will be enforced and any dispute or discussion will be handled by the tournament organizers and the parties involved. Rules can be changed at anytime at the consent of P4BT staff.

Winners/Losers/Grand Finals are best of 5 matches.

Soul Calibur 5 Rules
Best of 5 matches Winners/Losers/Grand Finals are Best of 5 matches
3 round matches
60 sec. rounds
Create A Soul characters are banned
Devil Jin is banned
Color Edits Only are allowed
Winner must select the same character. Loser may switch.

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Rules
Best of 5 matches Winners/Losers/Grand Finals are Best of 5 matches

All DLC Characters are available for tournament play.
SOLO Mode is banned.
Winner must select the same character. Loser may switch.

If a player(s) enters a wrong kode during the loading screen that affects the match and gameplay, the player(s) that entered it will forfeit the match. So be careful and don’t enter any kodes other than the kodes that are allowed as they do not affect gameplay.

P4B Tournament and Venue Rules

1. Tournaments will be run in a double elimination format. In the case we are strapped for time at a venue or there’s a lot of competitors then games that normally are 3 rounds will be 2 rounds.
2. Players and spectators are expected to exercise sportsmanship and a high standard of personal conduct at all times before, during and after the tournament.
3. Be respectful of the tournament venue, tournament setups, and personal property of fellow players and spectators.
4. Swearing, trash-talking, or any other conduct by players and spectators considered abusive or offensive may result in a forfeit, disqualification, or dismissal from the venue by P4B/RCC personnel.
5. Game breaking glitches are banned.
6. Programmable commands are banned.
7. Turbo button functions are banned.
8. Button macros (1 button to perform 3 punches at once is allowed)
9. Allow your fellow players to button check before a match if they need do so.
10. Pausing a match will result in a forfeit of that round unless opponent chooses to waive this option.
11. Tournament play allows arcade sticks and wired controllers. Wireless 360 controllers will need to have a cable w/ no battery pack to be allowed in tournament play.
12. 2 Man Tournaments may be played only after the tournament(s) are over and there is a setup(s) for it.
13. Any questions or explanations of tournaments/rules, don’t hesitate to ask tournament staff and we will gladly answer your questions or explain the rules.
14. P4B Tournaments and Rick’s Cyber Cafe takes no responsibility for personal items that are damaged, stolen, or lost at the tournament.

Rick’s will have controllers and charger cables for use for $1 each for the tournament.
